If your kids are like mine, they like staying up to hear Auld Lang Syne play on New Year’s Eve – well, maybe they just want an excuse to stay up past the routine bedtime.  Either way, whether you have your own traditions or normally have always had family gatherings through the years, now that your children are growing up, those traditions may not be teen-friendly.
